as if it were yesterday

February 10, 2008 by Wendy S

(blog365: 40/365)

Yesterday I packed up the girls and headed into downtown Toronto to meet up with my best friend Jane for lunch. We had a great time! She’s been working in Toronto over he holiday season (who knew that Christmas lasted until February?) but she heads back home on Sunday.

What I love about the friendship that Jane and I have is that it is so low maintenance! She and I can go weeks or even months without taking but when we do, it’s like we haven’t skipped a beat. We’ve known each other since we were 6 years old — we met in Brownies — and have done so many fun, weird, exciting things together over the years. Now 26 years later, we’re still best friends.

Luv ya, Jane!
