t13#8 – crazy things my kids did this week

February 21, 2008 by Wendy S

(blog365: 52/365)

Thirteen Crazy Things my kids did this week

1. Munchkin poured two bags of milk in the dog dishes — 1 in the water bowl and 1 in the food bowl.

2. Peanut took 3 steps from the coffee table to the couch.

3. Munchkin woke up Peanut from her nap because I was on the phone.

4. Munchkin finally figured out that she can go to the bathroom on her own BEFORE her pants get wet!! (She’d go if I reminded her, but now she’ll go on her own)

5. Peanut finally decided that a bottle is okay.

6. Munchkin told me: “I love my pants. They’re pink. They make me smile.”

7. Munchkin will ask me for Smarties then realize that they are a reward for going pee and keeping her pants dry so she then runs to the bathroom to pee so that she can get Smarties.

8. When Hubby comes home from work, Peanut will crawl as fast as she can (and it’s fast!) and you hear her say (almost clearly) “Hello Daddy”. Then she pulls herself to a stand using his pants wanting him to pick her up.

9. Peanut tried to use Dakota (our dog) as a stool to get something off the table. Dakota didn’t like this very much and stood up quickly, knocking Peanut backwards.

10. Munchkin has realized that she can pull a chair somewhere and stand on it to get things. She got the scissors out of the drawer and proceeded to cut open the bag of Hershey’s Kisses.

11. If you had Peanut her toothbrush, she puts it in her mouth, bites on the bristle part then moves her hand side to side. She’s not really cleaning her teeth, but she likes that we smile at her when she does it.

12. Peanut got a cold and had gooey stuff coming out of her eyes. Ugh. Have you ever tried to put drops in an 11-month-old’s eyes?

13. Today Peanut woke up at 6 am, had a bottle, by 7 am was back asleep and slept for 2 hours and 20 minutes! Then in the afternoon she took another 1 hour nap.
