Why is it that when I’m trying to plan a 1st Birthday Party we get a snow storm?? Ugh.
When Munchkin turned 1 year old, we had her birthday at the beginning of December and it snowed. Some of the guests had to cancel but those that did make it had a great time. They got to see Munchkin walk for the first time!! Munchkin stood up off of her chair and took 5 steps. It was great!
We have had to reschedule Peanut’s1st Birthday party because we’re supposed to get up to 5ocm (20″) of snow tomorrow. They said we’re more likely to get 20cm (8″) but it will be “white out conditions”. How can I expect my guests to drive in that? I can’t.
So the party will be next week.
The unfortunate thing is my brother and his wife won’t be able to come next week because they’ll be in Mexico on their honeymoon. Darn, eh? They are still going to come visit us this weekend. My brother drives a truck and said that he isn’t afraid of the snow. So we don’t have any set plans and they’ll be here when they get here.
So I guess my Thursday Thirteen from yesterday I’ll just post again next week. Tho trying to get that list done while I’m at work will be much, much harder.
