“If the government issues a finding of toxic, no parent in their right mind will be using products made with this chemical,” said Rick Smith, the executive director of Environmental Defence, a Canadian group that has been campaigning against B.P.A. “We will be arguing strongly for a ban on the use of this chemical in food and beverage containers.”

I love being ahead of the game!! I wish we had never unknowingly entered the game in the first place but hindsight is always 20/20.
And not only are consumers making the right decisions but so are retailers!!
So far the retailers who have removed BPA products from their shelves include:
- Mountain Equipment Co-op
- Hudson’s Bay Co. (The Bay and Zellers)
- Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd. (Canadian Tire and Mark’s Work Warehouse)
- Forzani Group Ltd. (Sport Chek, Coast Mountain Sports and Athlete’s World)
It will be nice to see this list get longer and longer!
