bloglines 0 google reader 1

November 14, 2008 by Wendy S

After not getting the updates to a friend’s blog, I started researching other blog reading options.

There are so many out there — online and offline; free and subscription.

I knew that I wanted an online one since I like to check my favourite blogs at home and work (shhh!).  And I totally don’t want to have to pay for one.  My trusty friend, Google, helped me out and I found this article (read).

I tried:

  • NewsGator
  •  NetVibes (too complicated)
  • Google Reader

And I really shouldn’t be surprised that I liked Google Reader.  It had all the things I was looking for and more.  It has the capabilities of communicating (so to speak) with my blog and I could publish blogrolls and other neat things.

Sorry Bloglines, but you need to get your stuff worked out.

Google…thanks for being amazing, yet again!
