Well, September was great but it went quickly.
Munchkin is several weeks into school now and she’s enjoying it. Someday we’ll get a half-decent answer to “what did you do at school today?”. The most popular answer to that question is “um, I dunno.”
“Okay, let me guess. You sat and starred at the wall?” “No.”
And then I have to go through a grocerly list of possible activies and get yes and no answers. It’s painful but I hope that one day she’ll realize that I do care about what she does all day at school.
In other Munchkin news, she’s joined the Junior Choir at church. They practice every Thursday and have been practicing for their first performance on Sunday. They are singing a Communion version of Kum By Yah. I’m not 100% sure how she feels about standing in front of the whole Church. She will be with her friends so I hope that that is enough for her to still go up. My mom is coming to our Church to see Munchkin sing. I haven’t told Munchkin as I’m trying to not make this a huge deal even though it is a HUGE deal.
While writing this post, I’ve actually come up with a few more ideas for a few more posts. Thank goodness. Guess I should just babble on for a bit to get the ideas flowing more often.
There are a few important things that happen in October. I’ve posted about them before, and the are definately worth revisiting….
