busy day and so much to say

March 17, 2010 by Wendy S

8988338Today was a busy day!  We got invited by Mom Central Canada and Megabrands to meet Dora and get a tour of the CN Tower.  Followed that up with lunch with BigDaddy.

Then headed home to grab the dog to take her to the vet.I have lots to write regarding the Dora / CN Tower awesomeness so I’ll post about that tomorrow. Our dog, Dakota, has been diagnosed with arthritis.  Over the past week, she has been crying when she would be going up stairs.  It’s heartbreaking.  So we called Saturday and got an appointment for this afternoon.  Our biggest worry is that she had finally developed hip displaysia like her sister had.  An x-ray confirmed that she doesn’t have the displaysia, but arthritis in her lower back mostly and a little in her hips.I guess that’s what happens as you get older.  Dakota will be 8 in June and in dog years that’s 60 year old.  She’s a senior.  We need to get her some glucosamine and she’s allowed to have some aspirin if she’s in a lot of pain.  I just hopes that she feels better soon.

For once I have so many ideas of things to write but I just haven’t managed to get one post finalized.Coming soon…

  1. Peanut’s bithday party pics and my flashback to my childhood
  2. 2nd installment of my “finding balance” series (is is really a series if there is currently only one post? whatever)
  3. bad sleeping habits or the habits that make sleeping very bad
  4. Visit to see Dora at the CN Tower with some very awesome moms.

Now these are in no particular order.  But they will appear on this blog someday soon.
