day out with thomas

July 20, 2011 by Wendy S

–>
Last weekend we had an awesome time spending a Day out with Thomas!

Pulling out of the station for its 16th consecutive ride on the rails, the Day Out With Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011 will visit more than 45 cities in the United States andCanada. Day Out With Thomas is the only place for families to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of everybody’s favorite No. 1 engine, Thomas the Tank Engine, and enjoy Thomas-themed activities at the Imagination Station, including stamps, temporary tattoos and hands-on arts and crafts.  Each year the tour grows, traveling to new destinations, adding new activities and welcoming new visitors.

You can still catch Thomas in St. Thomas, Ontario this weekend — July 22-23!!

And what’s great about seeing it in St. Thomas, is that with your Thomas ticket, you can get in to see the Elgin County Railway Museum for free.  It was amazing to see the historical items they have, including a 1930’s Steam Train.  They also had an excellent model train!

BigDaddy and I had a lot of fun tweeting about the fun things that we were doing.  See our tweets — #daywiththomas

For more dates, locations and to buy tickets, go to the Day out with Thomas site —

Disclosure: I received a family pack of ticket in order to review the event. All opinions are my own.
