Gift giving is easy with #IndigoKids and @chaptersindigo [giveaway]

April 3, 2012 by Wendy S

Indigo is your ultimate destination for birthday gifting.  You’ll be sure to find smart gift recommendations for every age (ages 1-9).  Hand-selected by their expert buyers, their gifts are sure to be a hit at every party!

And they’re not kidding!

I arrived at Chapters in Mississauga and the bright colours of the IndigoKids sign immediately caught my eye!  I was birthday shopping for Lauren, so I was childless and able to take my time and take in everything they had to offer.

You’ll notice the kid-focused IndigoKids section is dramatically different from the rest of Chapters.  I enjoy shopping at Chatpers-Indigo because I find very calming and soothing; very library like.  Warm colours with a carpet to lessen the noise.

IndigoKids starts with a bright archway with my girl’s favourite characters! No way to deny that this is the entrance into the kids-focus section of books, toys and gifts!

You will immediately notice the great train table set up for the kids to play with along with chairs for the parents to sit and relax.  The area was humming with little voices and mom’s and dad’s reading to their little ones.  Older kids were tucked in a chair, reading a book from their favourite series.

All of the books, toys and gifts are aimed at children ages 1 to 9 years old.  There were educational games and toys as well as plasma cars and outdoor play toys.

Choosing how I was going to spend my Indigo gift card on Lauren’s present wasn’t going to be easy!  There were so many things that she would like!

I ended up getting her some My Little Pony Phonics Fun books and “Scaredy Squirrel Has a Birthday Party“!  With Scaredy being her favorite right now this was perfect!

Once you have your gift picked out, there is free gift wrap!  Definitely a one stop shop for your gift giving needs!

And whether your purchase your books and gifts online or in store, you can earn plum rewards on virtually every purchase!

If you do decide to check out all that IndigoKids online has to offer, you get free shipping with a purchase over $25 and gift wrapping is only $4.95.

Follow Chapters-Indigo on facebook and twitter
for information about their stores and specials!

I had a great time shopping in at IndigoKids!!  Next time, I’m taking my girls with me so they can experience all the fun too!

And you can experience the fun at IndigoKids too!!

Each reader will have a chance to win a $35 Indigo gift card – so they can also have an opportunity to experience purchasing a gift at IndigoKids.

Leave a comment stating why you love IndigoKids or how you think IndigoKids could help you, and you could win a $35 gift card!
