1. bike rides with the girls
2. picnics in the park
3. watching the girls play at the spash pad
4. swimming
5. camping weekends away
6. BBQs in the backyard
7. nights in the hot tub with friends
8. relaxing on the back deck on our new patio furniture
9. enjoying fireworks for Craig’s birthday (aka Canada Day)
10. seeing concerts at one of various waterfront festivals in the area
11. walks along the lakefront watching the boats
12. trips to the leash-free park where Dakota can play with her friends
13. warm weather (with lots of SPF)

We’re not celebrating today tho. Friday my brother and SIL will be coming to our house for a BBQ. Ummm…steak!

(anyone remember the Venga Boys??)

Tonight we went to Julian’s (2nd) 1st Birthday Party! It was sooo much fun. Julian is loved by so many people…and Dawn has such great neighbours.

She lives in a neighbhourhood where there are a TONNE of kids. It’s amazing! We have kids in our neighbourhood, but nothing like this.

I had the pleasure to meet her friends a the Pampered Chef party she had a few weeks prior. That night we ate yummy treats and drank (too much) wine. Again, it was a lot of fun with some really awesome neighbours.

Rumour has it that there are hot tub parties in the summer!

Prior to the party I had packed up the girls’ PJs and bedtime stuff with the knowledge that they’d fall asleep in the car. Um…nope! Both of them were up until we were almost home. Ugh. Luckily they both went to sleep very quickly once they got in their beds.

Happy Birthday Julian! And thanks Dawn for letting us be a part of his happy celebrations!

For the last few days Peanut has been clingy, whiny, fussy, screachy but generally okay. I figured she is teething. Today her head was warm to the touch and her cheeks have been flushed. Definately teeth. She’s got 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom so the other two on the bottom had to be coming.

For some reason, I looked at Peanut’s upper gums. Low and behold, TWO new molars. TWO!!!

Guess I know now why she was fussy.
