“The Blacklist” is must-watch TV on @Global_TV! #TheBlacklist

March 15, 2014 by Wendy S

It’s his job?!? Really?!?

Since the very first episode, there has been a lingering question about Tom‘s motives. He was beaten with in inches of death and later Liz found things that let everyone with questions.  What does a guy need with that many passports? But he always had an answer for everything.

On the last episode, “The Judge (No. 57)” we find out that it’s Tom’s job to love Liz. WHAT?!?!

Yes, that is really how they left us hanging.  I CANNOT wait until Monday!

The Blacklist - Loving her is his job! Watch Global TV Monday at 10pm

Catch up!

If you haven’t started watching The Blacklist yet, here’s a quick summary of what has been going on:

Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) is one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives.  He turns himself into the FBI, but negotiates his (limited) freedom with them because he has a tonne of information about dangerous criminals and terrorist, that he calls “The Blacklist”.

The catch is that he will only talk to Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), a rookie FBI profiler. Keen questions Reddington’s sudden interest in her, but Reddington will only reveal that she is very special.

Liz is married to Tom but their relationship is a roller coaster. You want them to be together and be happy, but at the same time, the lingering idea that Tom isn’t who he says he is. On monday, we’ll find out what he’s up to!

now what?

August 25, 2008 by Wendy S

Okay, so the Olympics are over.  Canada did better than I thought they would.  It was a slow start.

But now what do I watch on TV?

Big Brother and Canadian Idol are still on?  Wow.  BB10 is a little dull this year.  I’ll have to check it out to see if things have picked up since I last watched.   Canadian Idol must be almost over…I wonder how many people are left.

I’m really liking Flashpoint.  It’s on Thursday nights.  Today they were filming at Toronto City Hall.  If you haven’t seen it, you have to check it out!

Well I’m off to fold laundry and start packing for the last camping trip of the summer.  *pout*

There isn’t too much else I can say about the John Hancock/Lang Lang performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue at last night’s Grammy awards. I didn’t catch most of the Grammy’s , but I did sit down for the 7 minute performance. It was awesome, literally.

In case you missed it, you can watch it here: http://www.redlasso.com/

grandma came to visit!

March 1, 2005 by Wendy S

Last night might not have been the best of nights, but Munchkin ended up having a pretty good day. She went to sleep around 12:45 and was up at 3:50am. She was down until 9…so that’s pretty good.

Mom (Grandma) arrived at 9am and I fed Munchkin. She didn’t eat a lot but I didn’t want to force her to eat because I didn’t want her to throw it all back up. So Mom held munchkin while I had cereal and coffee and then it was off to the doctors.

Munchkin was supposed to get her 2 month shot…only 2 weeks late but it didn’t end up happening. Dr. L thought it would be too much for her as she has been sick. So we have to go back next Monday.

Good news…Hubby is starting to feel human again. Thank goodness. I love Munchkin and all but it is nice to have a break. He misses cuddling with her so when he’s up for it he can hold and cuddle her all he wants!

Mom and Dad are coming up for the RV show on Saturday at the International Centre and have offered to take care of Munchkin if Hubby and I want to go out. Woo hoo! Hubby wants to go to the RV show with them. So maybe we’ll go to the show, have dinner with them and then go out to a movie!

Well, to night is a good TV night. Everwood is on at 9, The Bachelorette finishes today. Tomorrow is the season premier of Amazing Race and at the same time on another channel is the SERIES finale of NYPD Blue. Why do they do that? Amazing Race is going to lose because how can I miss the series finally of such a great show?

**Editied** Just looked at the TV schedule…no Everwood and The Bachelorette is on now! Oh, and American Idol is on too! Good thing for the “last channel” button.
