90 days with Adult Essentials #ShesConnected

April 27, 2012 by Wendy S

It’s hard to believe that 90 days has passed since I started the Adult Essentials Brand Ambassador program with ShesConnected.

Over the past 90 days I have been taking Adult Essential vitamins daily.  As I stated in my last post my energy levels are increasing.

These last 90 days have made me stop and think about what else I could be doing to be healthy.  Right now it seems that taking my Adult Essential vitamins is the easiest part of my healthy routine.

The one thing that I know would make my overall health better would be to increase my sleep.  Better sleep habits are hard for me though. I have so many things going on and so many things to do.  Sleep gets pushed a side.

I’m going to stick with them.  They’re yummy and good for me!!  And they can be my daily reminder that my health and my sleep are just as important as getting my daily vitamins!

Staying Healthy with Adult Essentials #ShesConnected

March 30, 2012 by Wendy S

First comes spring, then comes summer, then comes Wendy in a bathing suit!

Yikes! That is not something that I’m looking forward to this year.

I could sit here and write a huge list of excuses as to why I’ve put on weight.  “I’m busy” “Not enough time” “Once we get the basement finished and we move the exercise bike, then it will be easier to exercise”  You know…the same things that many of us say to ourselves.

But over the last few months, I’m trying to be better. Going out for lunch less and taking the stairs at work. Playing with the kids outside and bike rides are now a more common occurrence.

I’m trying to eat better as well — more fruits and vegetables and better portion sizes.

Since becoming an Adult Essentials Brand Ambassador, I’ve been taking my vitamins much more consistently than i used to.  Also, the girls are very good at reminding me to take them.  Probably because they want to take their IronKids Gummies vitamins too!

A great line up of Adult Essentials and IronKids Gummies in our cupboard!

My energy level is starting to increase and I find I’m getting better sleep at night.  In the past, I had struggled with my Iron and B12 levels.  A B12 deficiency can lead to fatigue. Adult Essentials has a B12 vitamin!  Perfect! And now my energy levels are coming back.

With greater energy, I’m starting to feel like I want to improve other parts of my life.  I have energy to do more, to exercise, to be more active.

I can’t wait to see how my health and outlook continue to improve!

I’m a #ShesConnected #AdultEssentials Brand Ambassador!

February 29, 2012 by Wendy S

If you haven’t realized already, I have met a lot of amazing people and companies through twitter.

A few years ago, I met @KidsGummyMum who introduced me to IronKids Gummies that are amazing vitamins that my kids beg for everyday.  I, like many moms on twitter, will admit to sneaking a few of my kids vitamins.  They are so yummy!!

When Life Essentials created Adult Essentials, twitter moms everywhere rejoiced!!  Gummy vitamins for us!!  Yes, dads can take them too.

I’ve been taking Adult Essentials for a while now; well before becoming a Brand Ambassador for them.  Being a part of the Adult Essentials Brand Ambassador program with ShesConnected is a perfect fit: I love the product and they want me to talk about it!

Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing with you about Adult Essentials and staying healthy!

Where to get Adult Essentials??

If you’d like to start taking them as well, I figured I should let you know where to get them!

Before this campaign, I’ve been ordering my vitamins online.  But I wanted to see where I could find them in stores.  I went to my local Rexal PharmaPlus.

I found the vitamins aisle.  And looked and looked.

Unfortunately the way this location has their shelves organized, the boxes just fit and name is almost hidden under the shelf above it.
I also found the IronKids Gummies!

This location is pretty close to me and might just become a regular stop for me!
