When Collective Bias asked me to show how I get my car ready for spring, it’s almost like they had seen what this long winter had done to my car!
I spend 2 hours a day driving back and forth to work. With all the snow and salt, my car has taken a beating! (And the kids do their own damage too!)
Drivers seat looks pretty nasty
I have not idea…but my guess is yogurt drink 🙁
Yuck!
Let the cleaning begin!
I headed out to Canadian Tire to pick up some cleaning supplies. The automotive cleaning supplies were easily found in the automotive department! And there were so many great ones to choose from!
Once I got home, I’m put my choices to the test!
4 Easy Steps!
1. Vacuum.
You need to get all of the loose dirt and mess out of the car.
2. Use the carpet cleaner as directed
I used a carpet cleaner that came with it’s own scrub brush!
It looks so much better! Some of the tough salt stains are going to need some more work.
2. Clean the upholstery
If you get a “carpet and upholstery” cleaner like I got, it cuts down on the number of products you need.
Again, use as directed.
3. Wash the windows
Because I usually take my car through a car wash, I only wash the insides of the windows.
4. Wipe down all interior surfaces of the car
I start with the dashboard and make my way to the back of the car. Where the girls sit can sometimes be a challenge.
And you’re done!
Thanks to #CollectiveBias for letting me show you my spring clean steps for my vehcile! Now it looks and smells nice and clean!
Let’s open up the windows and sing at the top of our lungs! I love spring!!
